Portland trip

Here are a few pictures from our trip up to the Great Northwest. All I have to say is that it is BEAUTIFUL!!

Here is our stop to the Portland Temple

Our stop to the side of the freeway (Mt. Hood in the background)

For those of you who watch "Little People, Big World", you all know that they live on the outskirts of Portland. So we decided to go out to the farm and see what we could see. When we got there ofcourse the farm is closed until pumpkin season, so we had to settle for the sign at the beginning of the driveway, but you just wait until pumpkin season and we will have more pictures from the farm. (sorry about the formatting, still really haven't figured it out)

Wehilani's first airplane trip

This past weekend we were able to go up to Portland to find a place to live. It was Wehilani's first trip on a plane. I was really worried that she would fuss the whole time and be one of those babies that crys the whole trip, but she was great. She played, well, as well as one can play on a plane, for about an hour and she finally bit the bullet and fell asleep. She slept the rest of the way until the plane landed and was wide awake for the rest of the trip.

Man I feel old!!

Tonight Gray and I went to the temple and we got a babysitter to watch Wehilani. After picking up the babysitter and giving her instructions on the peanut's bedtime routine, I had this flashback to when I used to be that young woman sitting in the passanger seat getting the instructions. It was just a weird feeling and a sad realization that I am getting old.

Thank you Grandma Ronk

For Wehilani's 1st birthday Grandma Ronk got her an Amish Rocking Chair. It is just the most beautiful chair I have seen, the workmanship is beautiful and I know this will be something that she will have for the rest of her life. With that said, last night we had Subway for dinner and after I had finished my drink, Wehilani thought that she would be a "big girl", well she is one you know :), and she decided to take my drink and have a sip. She walked around with it, played with the straw and sat and relaxed in her new rocking chair. Enjoy!!!
